So in 1958 Gibson decided to make a guitar for the not yet identified "metal market". The president Ted McCarty (owner of a time machine) decided that bands like Accept, MSG, Scorpions and artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Marc Bolan and lenny kravitz needed a guitar to match their hair. There are two main types the original 58 and the re-issue in 67 however there have been many a variation over the years......let's try to forget the 80s!!!

Early 80s Michael Schenker signature flying V (FV-85MS) in very good condition. The truss rod cover is an original Burny but not the correct one for this guitar.
